The Nintendo DS and it's later incarnations of the DS Lite, DSI and DSI XL are all fantastic machines however they are vulnerable to being broken including both screens, the touch screen and various parts of the screen. If you drop or bash the console then you can also cause power faults as well. Its a good job then that The PC Doctor can repair all of these faults for you.
This is probably the most common repair that we carry out as the Right hand Hinge on these machine is so vaulnerable to damage. Once this has happened the only way to resolve the problem is to replace the complete case.
It is possible to change the colour of the machine at the same time however this adds to the cost slightly as the touch screen has to be replaced as well due to the sticky screen surround being attached to it and colour coded to the console. If either of the hinge barrels are missing then they cost £3 each which will be added to the repair cost.
If either of the screens are damaged then these will also be required for the machine to work again. In this case please contact us for a quote.
